My co-worker created a Web-Form XSD file that he was able to deploy and he is on Windows and I am on Linux … but Alfresco runs just fine for me in Tomcat.We created a Web-Project, and I was able to add the web-form …I definitely made sure the virtual server was started …So, here is the error I am ge

Multiple issues:

1) on my Linux system, running [./Alfresco.sh start] as myself meant I couldn't start the jaxrmi on port 50500 because it is a protected port. I had to run as 'root' on my local system in order to make sure that was running.

2) As seen in previous posts … you have to make sure Alfresco is fully started and running before you start the Virtual Server. I had tailed the cataline.out file and I saw it constantly trying to restart. So … finally … after letting Alfresco start, I started the virutal Server and the log file shows it started.

3) I was using Firefox 1.0.8 and using the Javascript Console saw that I was getting a regular expression error. That is my my Xforms tried to start, but only got through three
text fields with no label when it starts.

4) I switched to the latest Firefox, and things finally started to work.
