We don't have any Activiti certification process in place for the moment and not planning anything in this direction. The only thing *remotely* activiti-certification is the "Alfresco Certified Engineer" program, although that only covers actvitvi workflow for a very small part.

We indeed do't have any official certification.

On a personal note (and this is my opinion), software certifications are a thing of the past. A real 'certification' is url's to commits, pull requests, forum posts, blogs, etc ….
(but that is of course my personal opinion, not that of my employer 😉 )

If they pass the Certification Exam - the person who examined them signs that they are indeed versed/certified in Activity.

With no official certification process, this was the closest to it as possible.

Evo

I hope they don't use vi/textpad/gedit/svn plugins/… You'd loose the tender because you prices go skyrocket due to all the expensive certifications…

But seriously… You'd fail the exam, since the first question is 'what is this examination for' and the correctbanswer would be ActivitI with an i, not a y, so the required 100% score is already gone…

Ok now really serious… Hhhmmm should, I'm only part of the project, not working for Alfresco, so no chance for me to earn money from this…

We create a certification exam, which should be able to certify a Business Analyst can use Activiti
2. Someone in Alfresco/Activiti reviews it and agrees that it is enough for a certificate
3. Our analysts pass the exam
4. We submit the exam to Alfresco, so you can use it in the future for other certificates?

I really hope that works. I can even go to Maidenhead to talk to the Alfresco Training department if that makes sense?

Evo
