Hi, somebody can explain me an example of how can i create content with templates in the web-client. At the moment i only can pre-view my contents with templates, but when i open the content in a browser for example, the template doesn't appear. why?Thanks.

Strangely this is not a feature of the web-client UI. But the same result can be performed by writing a JavaScript that executes a template and writes the result to a new file.

I think it would be a useful feature for the UI - as then you could write templates that spit out useful reports and save them directly from the preview screen. Please raise a JIRA request for the feature.

It would not be hard to add for a community minded developer out there looking for a little Alfresco project to get their teeth into

Did somebody do this? Is it possible to save preview of template? I ask because I can implement something like this and attach it for example here, but I do not want to duplicate work.

We have not received any contributions that i know of.
