Hello,

This is my first time posting. Let me start off by saying I'm very impressed with Alfresco and just have a small question regarding usability.

I've followed the instructions in my documentation to create custom aspect for my additional property fields, however, I would like to add a procedure so that when new documents are imported via CIFS, FTP, WebDAV, etc. It can become part of the workflow to have certain users index those documents with our custom fields.

If this is not possible, is there a way to import a text file into alfresco some how which will contain the index data and the path to the corresponding image in the db?

I hope I am making myself clear!

Thanks,

Tal
