I need to audit the review and approval of documents in Alfresco 4.1 which uses the Activiti engine. To that end I discovered the "Activiti Explorer" and started exploring. I see the active procs and also the database table that include RU and HI history tables for all executed procs.

When I create a Parallel Review and Approve task I can see it in the explorer and also in the database. I also see it in the HI tables in the database. The problem is that I am not sure where the noderef to the document associate with the review process is stored. I see noderefs for bpm_package, bpm_assignee, initiator, initiatorhome… but nothing that points to the document. I thought it might be in ACT_HI_ATTACHMENT however there are zero(0) records there.

In the end what I need to provide to a SOX auditor when given a document reference is :
1. Was the document approved.
2. The person(s) that approved the document.
3. The date for each approval.

Thanks,

Chris

It is the 'bpm_package' variable you need. That points to a noderef in Alfresco that actually contains node refs to all the documents stored for that process instance.
