Error End Event doesn't end a subprocess?

Good morning , we have notice that if an errorEndEvent activity occurs in a subprocess, the subprocess doesn't really end (end time in ACT_HI_ACTINST is NULL). This is a problem because the ErrorBoundaryEvent that catch the error can't end the process instance.Someone else have encountered this k

Is there maybe another parallel flow?

The boudary catch the error, then runs another subrocess, then returns in the main flow (with an exlusive gateway). For example, if the error isn't thrown, the process end correctly, following the same flow for the last activities.

Isn't the correct approach?

Pretty hard to tell, without the diagram or XML. Could you post that? Or even better, a failing unit test.
