    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It sounds as if you have done the right steps, but for some reason are still failing to connect to the DB from your Alfresco server. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The exception is masking the real error. Refer to:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?t=8877" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?t=8877&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please check the connection to your DB from your Alfresco server, and double-check check all settings (username, password, url etc). For example, if the mysql port is not the default one (3306) then you will need to specify the new port number in the db.url parameter etc.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We fixed the issue with the real exception being hidden in 2.1E and current HEAD code.
