topic corrupt index? (IMPORTANT) in Alfresco Archive

I'm getting an error in the CIFS interface. When I browse to a particular space,it gives an error that I don't have permission to browse to the space(even with the admin user).

Browsing with the web client doesn't give the error.

When I make a list (with freemarker) from the documents from that space I'm getting the following:

…
7 Node Type: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content Node Ref: workspace://SpacesStore/c32c1fa3-7249-11dc-9c27-4fdaa22b58a3
8 Node no longer exists: workspace://SpacesStore/8d8dea39-759f-11dc-acf8-890a123817c6
9 Node Type: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content Node Ref: workspace://SpacesStore/3b2d3452-756f-11dc-acf8-890a123817c6
10 Node Type: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content Node Ref: workspace://SpacesStore/733916b5-75af-11dc-a90b-f9910763552d
…
‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

So I think it's an index that is corrupt, and that the web-client catches this, but CIFS doesn't.

It's already the second time I'm facing this problem. Last time I've rebuild (FULL) the indexes. This worked fine, but was very time consuming.
Is there another way to fix the index, or this problem?
Why are the indexes getting corrupt?

Friendly regards,
Nick

we've already needed to rebuild our indexes 3 times…
It seems when we using CIFS more frequently, we get this error also more frequently.

This isn't workable anymore…

This repeating problem makes Alfresco unusable as a production DMS.

any help or comment?

friendly regards

For future reference:

Forwarded this to Alfresco and it seems a bug that was fixed in 1.4.4E. We haven't validated this yet but hopefully it works.
