Hello,I installed alfresco 2.0 and everything works fine. Now I recently installed a second instance of alfresco in the same machine (to separate production from Preproduction) to test new features, changes, upgrades, etc.My system isS - Linux 2.6.18-1.2239.fc5smp - i386 GNU/LinuxDB - mysql Ver 1

hello,

your problem came from the java RMI (Remote Method Invocator) because each server try to blind this url:

rmi://localhost:50500/alfresco/jmxrmi‍

So the easier way to solve this problem is useing a VirtualMachine for linux (like InnoTek VirtualBox, http://www.innotek.de) and install your pre-production server in this VirtualMachine.

I am still fighting a little bit with this problem and I will keep in mind the virtual machine option as my last shot
