Exception and documents missing in home space

Hi, I've come across an exception while submitting documents. It happened with version 2.0 and also with the nightly-build of may22, while trying to create a new ContentModel.The documents of a user space were missing, and although the process of submission went to its term, the document didn't show

This error generally indicates that you have objects left in your DB that no longer exist in your contentModel definition. Unfortunately there is no support for removal of types in the server as yet. You need to develop your content model on a test server and then deploy to your main server once you are happy which will stop errors like this.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your reply. It happened indeed after I played with a custom content type and the exampleModel. I might have commented out some parts of it… So modifying a content type could be pretty dangerous!

Maybe I can draw the conclusion that the content type should be a thin reliable model which should be "extended" by aspects as the prefered way -and a Model shouldn't be deleted on a production server, am I right ?

That's a good conclusion for now. We hope to improve support for model modifications in a future version!
