FTP upload and types

Hi,I define several new types for my contents (Image, games,…) each with different properties. When I upload content throw the web client I can set it type.Is there a way to set the type of the content when uploading content using FTP upload?Thx alot, Itay

or after the loading from the FTP?

I could not find in web client "update type" or something like that.

Yes you can create a rule (JavaScript API rule can work also as it supports the method 'specializeType') that will do this as new files are added to a folder. Otherwise you can run a JavaScript at a later date to do the work.
