OS: Windows XPI downloaded the latest version of the bundle Alfresco-tomcat, unzipped it on to root of my C drive, run db_setup.bat and then 'alfresco.bat start'Tomcat starts, pick-up the web archive and all seems OK.Next I try to access alfresco from my IE browser, see the login page, enter admin/a

Thanks lots, I did just what you said, and it all works like a charm now
BTW, notice that the admin/admin account does not work on the CIFS, only the users I have created myself (users/passwords are managed by Alfresco DB) can do this, any idea why the admin/admin is an exception?

I tried to download the installer version for windows and the trial for windows as I' can' t to reach a working installation of the community edition

As in the site said: it is a trial but fully featured..
BUT I' ve seen that under navigator the shelf is missing and some other voices that I can find in the tutorial are missing as in Company Home/Data Dictionary/Space Templates I can't find advanced space wizard.
And there are many icons with disabled function as Category management under console administration…WHY ?

There are some bugs as the missing information about summary when I define rules..
SO I ask you : Why you mention that the ecm trial is fully featured while it isn't?

Are there any scripts that I have to run to add the missing features?

I am very disappointed.
I want to try to understand if this product is good for my job (my boss asks to investigate this tool) but I can't have a good idea…

Nothing is disabled in the Enterprise trail - it just has a limited license. The issue I think is that the tutorial is out-of-date with the UI changes that have occured in 2.1. The Shelf is available from the drop-down menu called "Navigator" on the left of the screen. The Space Templates folder should be visible under Data Dictionary. Functionality may be disabled if you are not the "admin "user but that is expected. If you see a bug please report it and we'll try and fix it.

The problem is the login with Italian language as I wrote in another message

If I log in English language it is all ok
