Installation successful, Tomcat says 'INFO: Server star

I've run the Alfresco 2.0 set-up file on Windows XP, as 'typical' which informed me was I was successful. What do you mean by "hangs"? Is the web UI unusable?

There is no web user interface, none appears, it does not come up. ]

Is there a URL I ought to be adding in?

You have to manually start a browser on your system, then browse to localhost:8080/alfresco (assuming you run alfresco local).

Hmmm. I tried starting TomCat (so it gets to the 'INFO: Server startup in 119813 ms) , then opening an IE7 browser window and typing in that URL (localhost:8080/alfresco) but it returns the following:

'The webpage cannot be displayed'

Any ideas?

Althogh it seems from the log file that there is no error while starting tomcat/alfresco so ideally it should open the webpage at:
http://localhost:8080/alfresco/

Can you recheck the log file for any SEVER or FATAL type of error.

I can't believe it's because I didn't type in the http://, but I tried again today and I have a UI in IE7. Phew, thanks for all your help.

Any chance of adding this information to the README.txt that opens after installation?
