Their Word must work even when not connected to the server. They take documents with them via briefcase type functionality.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Why not implemented a check up front to see whether the servers are there. If not, the plug-in is disabled automatically and the GUI shows a warning stating so. It also uses Internet Explorer to access and display the UI.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The add-in has been designed with the Enterprise in mind - i.e. the Alfresco server will always be available.
