Hi, We want to add title and description (and eventually custom aspect information) to our notify mail. It seems that the mail is submitted just after upload and before adding the metadata so we can not insert title, description info into the email notification. For me it would make more sence to in

We have the same issue :

When setting a "send mail rule" and add a document to this space the mail is send as soon as you click on ok.

So the order is :

- add document
- browse/upload
- OK
- THEN the email is send
- Modify content properties

This means it is impossible to send these properties in the notification mail.

We use different custom aspects like "status" "service" etc… We would like to send this information in our notification email as well.

Is it possible the make the send mail rule only be excecuted after completing the content properties ? Is there an Alfresco setting (xml) that can be modified to achieve this ?

An other solution would be to controle in which order rules are excecuted. Add aspect
then
send mail

setting the rule action on "update" instead of "inbound" makes this work.
