Hi Andy,

I used an nfs mount with both indexes and contentstore (this I won't do on my producion platform for performance matters).
It seems to work fine, but I am a bit worried about this.

I am using Alfresco enterprise edition 2.1. Solaris 10/Websphere 6.1

is that problem still up to date on this version? If so I may have to update my testing platforms
What are the symptoms?

Many Thanks
Stephane

We're planning to install Alfresco on a Virtual Server (VMWare) . For this we would like to know if it is possible to install Alfresco on a nfs share which would give us more flexiblity for backup and restore. thx

We will upgarde to lucene 2.2 and add the NFS fixes they have tested to our own index management around transactions.

Andy
