Child Assocation Propagation

I understand that actions like delete propagate though to child associations. Recently I noticed a child association was not removed, this I believe was due to it having more that one parent association.Here are my questions:Is it possible to model Alfresco so operations like delete will propagate

Hi,

Each child has exactly one primary parent - the parent that it was created beneath or that it was moved to. Deletions propagate when the primary relationship is destroyed. You can see whether a relationship isPrimary but you can't alter the relationship without moving the node.

Would there be anyway to configure/create a child (in code if required) to have 2 or more primary parents, so if any one parent is removed so is the child?

If there can only be one primary what do you think would be the best workaround for the behaviour I require?
