I installed Alfresco 2.0 last week to try it out. The CIFS works sometimes and at other times it does not. When it is not working, if I browse the domain I see the myServer_a but I do not see the alfresco share. Other times it works fine. It seems to wour about 50% of the time. I do not want to

Where is the directory that CIFS is sharing? I am running Alfresco on a Windows Server and if I could create a share via windows it may be more stable for my demonstrations.

I really like this suite of apps and I want the demos to go smooth so that I get buy in.

I have exactly the same issue on my installation.

I am trying to evaluate the software for my company.

If anyone has an answer about this il will be welcome.

It look like is the CIFS session expired.

This happens only when using remote clients. On the server itself, it works fine…
