Any plans to offer localization of categories?

Hi,We would like a way for an English speaking user to categorize a document as, for example, "UNITED STATES" and a French speaking user see the document appear to be categorized as "ETATS-UNI".Pretty sure we can't do this currently right? Is this functionality on the roadmap? Any ideas how we could

Hi

Yes it is planned and will use the MLText support.

Basically the category service etc uses queries based on path to look up members etc (which will not be internationalised) but the display text will by moved to MLText. This requires changes in the UI.

However, this may change, as category support in general is up for review next time round.

I was just looking for this feature as well. This thread is from 2007: has any progress been made here? Is there a JIRA issue to follow this?
