Working Copy- Need only Check out person ability to modify.

By default other users will be able to view the original content and the working copy.But we want only those who made the modificationto be able to make changes.

The problem is that
when you check out a document in the Space,
other people who have access to the space can also
modify the working copy. We want to avoid this.

Cant you just send the copy in a space where only the people supposed to work on the copy can enter?
When you do a check out ther is normally such an option.

yes i think this is what the "user homes" are for. its kinda cludgy, the checkout process - especially for binary files. i wonder if the webdav supports autolocking if someone has it open directly from the drive?
