How to show image in html content page

i want to create html content, and want to show image in it.i tried for that but it was asking for an image URL … i inserted an image path but it was not showing me an image.can anybody tell me its solution.thanks in advance….

for creating html content alfesco provide editor, i used that editor to put image but tht image is not get display in html page
