Have you tried that example in the tutorial? It combines a simple workflow with notifications via rules on the associated space. If I understand correctly, this should give you what you need. If I'm still missing the point, let me know.

I'm assuming you mean as part of a workflow… take a look at page 31 of the Tutorial at http://downloads.sourceforge.net/alfresco/Alfresco-Tutorial-2.0.pdf?modtime=1172573462&big_mirror=0

Okay ! That I understand. But my problem has to do with the WCM. If an user create new webcontent he must let it approve. The person get the content and see it in "new task to do" if this person go to his alfresco account.
My problem i, I will that the person which get the content to approve in his "new task to do" get an email that there is a new task to do. I hope you can understand what I mean.

Yes I have tried, but it only works with the DMS and not with the WCM that`s my problem. Or maybe I´m too stupid to use it.

Ah… gotcha now. Didn't catch that distinction before about using WCM.

You'll need to edit the "Web Site Submission" workflow and / or create your own using http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/WorkflowAdministration
