Hi,

Regarding the Word Add-In:

1. MS Word plugin. Very cool addition. However, is it possible to save a file directly to alfresco repository from file menu instead of using the pop up? So maybe the file menu could have an option like "Save to alfresco…". Similarly, from the file menu, it should be possible to "Open from alfresco". Or is this just a wishlist

Please raise an issue JIRA (Web Client/Desktop Integration) for additional functionality you'd like to see.

2. The plugin in current shape allows me to save to a pre-configured alfresco repository. If the organization has multiple alfresco installations, is it possible to configure the plugin for those multiple repositories?

No, the Add-In supports one repository only. Again, please raise an issue in JIRA if you'd like to see this added.

4. After doing all these, I have been trying to import the war file (alfresco-wsf-website.war) but no success. The process just seems to go on for ever. I have increased the heap size but no luck yet. No error messages also. Am i missing some configuration?

Sorry about that, it will be fixed for 2.1 final - that's why we release it early - to get free testing

For now you can import the website directly into Staging Area (as the admin user) which should only take 30-40 seconds.

Thanks much Kevin for your help.

The wiki links to the download page for downloading the Blog AMP but it seems to be missing.

Also one more thing - RM and Blog module both require module management tool but in 2.1 RC, there is no module-management directory in the extras folders. I checked from the earlier install of 2.0 and even some of the jars required by the ModuleManager.bat file are missing.

I have the installable version and not zip file. So i'm not sure if it's a problem with my install or if i am missing something

The Alfresco Module Management tool is now available as a seperate download and can be found on Sourceforge in the 'Alfresco' project.
