When inviting users, the UI displays "Name"s in a list - and only that field. This appears to be FirstName + LastName and not an separately editable field. Unfortunately "Name" is not unique, so I can get several users listed with the same FirstName + LastName and not know who's who. When I get b

That will require a code change in the web-client. It sounds like a good idea, I suggest you raise it as a bug in JIRA and we'll get to it.

I want to display First Name / Last NAme instead of userName in Alfresco while a user enters into alfresco.

I also would like to change the username to a FirstName.LastName format. Is there a workaround or will this be implemented in the future?

I agree, this would be a really useful function to have as an option.
