The preferred way to do this these days is to use CMIS. There are CMIS client API's for several languages. You can start by looking at the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://chemistry.apache.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;Apache Chemistry&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; project. If one doesn't suit your needs you can always build your own client-side classes that invoke CMIS via either Web Services or Atom Pub.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Jeff&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
