I'm sure there are some reporting features built into Alfresco because the Wiki talks about cross repository reporting: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Cross_Repository_Reporting_and_Business_IntelligenceCan anyone point me at the documentation for simple single repository reporting?Thanks,Joe.

Hi Joe,

I am looking the same thing. Right now I enter all documents into a document register in openoffice base, and then enter into Alfresco. Now sometime (actually) alot of the time I enter documents into Alfresco before I ever get a change to enter into the database. Now it would be convenient to run a report on all documents in the repository (in which spaces etc). I find it hard to believe that this great piece of software does not have this capability.

If you have figured it out, it would be great to know how.

Maybe there is away to connect openoffice base to the database in Alfresco? Not sure?

You can create a template that will give you the kind of results you are looking for. Check out the Freemarker templates in the Wiki and the examples installed in the Templates space in the Data Dictionary.
