topic Effectivity aspect in Alfresco Archive

Hi,
I'm evaluating Alfresco for the CMS needs of my organization. One of the requirements is that content needs to have an expire date set for it. On expiry the Content should not be accessible / moved to an archive folder (or maybe deleted).
I guess the effectivity aspect provides this feature though I haven't the slightest clue as to how to proceed to implement this.

Read some other posts on the same issue as well as read through the wiki, and i'm still clueless

Would help if someone could give a step by step guide or something

Regards,
Elroy

Hi Elroy,

This sounds like a good candidate project for the Alfresco Forge (http://forge.alfresco.com). If you are interested then feel free to create a new project and I'm happy to give you some guidance as to how implement the features you require.

I think there may have been some internal work done in this area so that might give the project a start.

Cheers,
Roy

Some guidance would definitely be appreciated . Ideally wouldn't want to extend Alfresco code, as the "effectivity" aspect exists, (we are mainly looking at an out-of-the-box solution towards this requirement), however a little coding and tweaking never hurt anyone .
