Did you export from 1.4 preview and import to 1.4 community final? As the records management model is now an optional installable component. You can either remove all references to the 'rm' model from your export file (the xml file contained in the root of the export ACP) or start again with a fresh community install to create your configuration.

You are exactly right, Kevin.
We made the export from an "old" RC1 1.4 community version and made the import using a "final" 1.4 community.
Between two consistent versions, it works fine.
