      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;That's odd.&amp;nbsp; We use it here all the time and it always works – on the Explorer side anyway (NB:&amp;nbsp; We don't use Share yet so I haven't tried it there.)&amp;nbsp; Every time we install a new test instance, for example, we'll create admin accounts for the necessary users (developers, test leads, etc.) so that each of them can access the Admin page to create test accounts, query nodes, etc.&amp;nbsp; Maybe I am just not understanding the problem.&amp;nbsp; Good luck!&amp;nbsp; BTW, we're using Alfresco Enterprise 3.3.x.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Darryl&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'll reply to this older thread in the hope of saving others time in sorting this all out.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We experienced the same problem in 4.0.a [fresh install, Centos 6 x64].&amp;nbsp; If I created a new user and added that user to the Alfresco_Administrators group in Explorer, the admin panel was not available when logged in as the new user either in Explorer or Share.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We found that all was well if the user was created in Share and added to the Alfresco_Administrators group.&amp;nbsp; Logged on as the new user in the Alfresco_Administrators group the admin panel is available both in Share and Explore.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In other words, create the second admin user in Share, add to the Alfresco_Administrators group, save and everything should work as expected.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
