Hi,

it is possible that the reason for this error is not to use a data base?

Two possiblities:
1 You may need a mysql jar file which you can search from your local file or the internet(I get it from the local file)
2 You may need to uncomment relevant part in the . properties file.

Or maybe
you need to create a database named alfresco in the mysql, actually there have been some script provided in the SDK

BTW, it takes me two day to get all the Example in the SDK running smoothly..
