topic Linking to Alfresco Forms in Alfresco Archive

Hi,

We are going to use Alfresco to store the content of a web application. Our design would involve templates and fragments of code that would generate the actual code to complete the template. At first we thought about Portlets and JBoss Portal but we changed for a lighter and more personalized implementation of our own (performance was the main reason for this decision).

What we would like to do is to have a XSD schema per fragment to describe the content a user can load on it. Then we would like to use the great Alfresco forms to allow the user to load the content.

In fact we would like to provide a link on each of these fragments to edit its content. I wonder how we can build a link to point to the form inside Alfresco (having the Template Type preselected etc.) so the user can fill the form and save the content. I have already checked the generated HTML source of the WCM but since the amount of JS and hidden files (and magic ids) I can't guess how I could do what I want.

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Waldemar
