Currently I am pursuing my organization to use Activiti. My experience with Acitiviti is running some of the examples and creating few samples process myself. I was impressed that I never got a feeling that I am doing something different than programming Java using Spring. Can the activiti experts tell what are the significant advantages of using acitiviti instead of JBPM 5 from their experience. Appreciate your help!

One element that drew us away from the jbpm4|5 roadmap is whereas their process engine will run (mostly) fine on non jboss platforms, getting the tooling to work on weblogic was almost impossible. That was about a year ago, maybe things have changed.

We had similar reservations with Activiti and the Alfresco product suite but so far they've been able to stay separate, good 🙂
