In the last 6 months I have been evaluating various CMS apps for a client. We settled on Documentum. The basis setup is 8 servers (4 in use, full HA/Fail Over) with NAS storage. Most of the content is hard copy. It needs to be scanned and brought into the CMS. They also have digital word, pdf, pictu

Hello,

Currently the most efficient way to move content into Alfresco is via FTP, so if you have a large number of documents in folders ready to drop into Alfresco I would use that interface. You can use CIFS (network drive) interface into Alfresco for drag-and-drop but it's not as efficient as FTP access.

You are correct, there is no scanning solution at present for Alfresco.

I would expect a multi (4?) CPU server system with a separate database would be fine for 100 users.

Each client connected to the server can use it's own language/locale. I'm not sure what you mean by repository sync?

Hope this is helpful,

Kevin
