This uses a custom session that&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;controls the EntityManager that is used to load/flush the entities used within activity processes. A good place to start looking is JPAVariableType and EntityManagerSessionFactory in the activiti-engine codebase.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
