Document update and MIME types

Hi,1. Let's say I upload an Excel document: somefile.xls2. I update this file with a plain text file: otherfile.txt3. The contents are overwritten but the title is still somefile.xls4. Inline editing isn't possible although this is just a plain text file4. I update this file again but with a picture

You're right this is a bug, i have raised it as such on JIRA so you can track it's progress: http://www.alfresco.org/jira/browse/AWC-444

Thanks Gavin, I just needed some confirmation before adding it to JIRA. The list is long enough without my issues. :wink:

:!: Did some extra checks and it seems that it's not only the MIME type that's missing it's true for ALL the metadata. If I update or check in a new version (metadata was changed) the metadata in the Alfresco system isn't updated.

Yes, you're right it is getting rather long
