I am trying to start Jboss with alfresco and getting this problem. Hi,

Could you turn debugging of everything off, please? The gratuitous dumping of everything attached to each transaction will be causing the server to run really slowly. It is possible that the infinite loop is not infinite, but just takes an hour to complete.

Turn the debugging off (See the Log4J section in the WIKI) and see what happens. I would expect that an infinite loop would culminate in an OutOfMemoryError.

Hi

It would also be good to get a thread dump if you think there is an infinite loop.

For info:

On windows, CTRL-Break in the app server console will dump thread and lock information.

On unix CTrl-\
or you need to to send the process SIGQUIT
Kill -QUIT process-number

There is also jstack on unix
