Estimados Buenos díasHay algún método para crear backup de ALFRESCO, para guardar la configuración (etiquetas, categorías, entre otros) quisiera poner ALFRESCO en Producción.

Hay una herramienta que se llama BART (Backup And Recovery Tool) que es MUY buena. Te dejo un tutorial que yo misma hice hace unos meses, si tienes alguna duda pregunta 😉

No, aplica a un servidor Unix. De hecho si ojeo la docu del autor pone lo siguiente:

Alfresco BART is a tool written in shell script on top of Duplicity for Alfresco backups and restore from a local file system, FTP, SCP or Amazon S3 of all its components: indexes, data base, content store and all deployment and configuration files. It should runs in most Linux distributions, for Windows you may use Cygwin (non tested yet).

Puedes utilizar Cygwin, pero no está testado.

¿Tienes la instalación de Alfresco en una sola carpeta? ¿La base de datos en la de postgresql por defecto y se encuentra en la misma ruta?

Tengo instalado ALFRESCO 5.2 en Windows 10 de 64 bits, en una sola carpeta, base de datos Postgressql y se encuentran en la misma carpeta.

Entonces tienes una opción muy sencilla: Copia la carpeta de Alfresco y ahí tendrás un backup completo

Te cuento: Para hacer un backup correctamente debes parar alfresco (o realizarla en horas cuando no haya usuarios utilizándolo), y necesitas hacer un backup de: alfresco/alf_data (donde se incluye los binarios - carpeta de contenstore - y los indices de Solr4) y, alfresco/postgresql (con la base de datos).

¡Y listo!

Además, para automatizarlo puedes utilizar la herramienta de tareas del windows 10 y puedes decirle que te copie ese directorio a una unidad externa, por ejemplo 🙂

Para restaurarlo basta con pegar esa carpeta donde quieras y arrancar. Así de simple 😉

I have this script I used once in a customer that had Alfresco running on Windows: A simple incremental backup script for Alfresco on Windows · GitHub

The script uses an Windows utility called Robopy, that is a kind of a rsync tool, and with that, the backup is quick because it can be executed incrementally.

PS: Fortunately we were able to convince this customer to migrate Alfresco into Linux, and now the script is not required anymore.

scusami non parlo Spagnolo, girando sulla community ho notato che sei la più esperta su Alfresco Burt,
ho un installazione di Alfresco 5 su DB PostgreSQL - Linux Centos, vorrei usare Burt per fare il backup,

ho seguito la guida su Comunità Venzia,

ho trovato i file gpg dentro le cartelle: mnt/backup/solr4/config e mnt/backup/solr4/buckup

ma ho 3 problemi:

1 - se lancio il comando:

Please, download the new BART version and try again.

I had a similar error and, in my case, the error was produced because the backup was not able to completed successfully (at certain moment, I had no enough space on my hard disk).

My suggestion to solve it:

- Be sure you have enough space on your hard disk (just to be save before start).

- Delete the content on your CS folder

- Try to launch a CS Backup

- Try again the command

scusa se approfitto ancora del tuo tempo,

ho settato Cron: * 16 * * * root /opt/alfresco/scripts/alfresco-bart.sh backup > /dev/null 2>&1

il Bkp è partito correttamente alle 16

successivamente lanciando il comando: ./alfresco-bart.sh verify cs
=========================== BACKUP VERIFICATION FOR CONTENTSTORE ==========================
DONE!

Tutto sembra OK.

volevo simulare il restore di un file:

Choose a restore option:
1) Full restore
2) Set restore
3) Restore a single file of your Alfresco repository
4) Restore alfresco-global.properties from a given date
5) Restore other configuration file or directory

Enter an option [1|2|3|4|5] or CTRL+c to exit: 3

mi da il seguente messaggio:
./alfresco-bart.sh: line 605: /usr/bin/mysql: File o directory non esistente
./alfresco-bart.sh: line 611: /usr/bin/mysql: File o directory non esistente

DOMANDE
- il mio DB e PostgreSQL, forse il settaggio 3 funziona solo con mysql?
- visto che non funziona la prova con l'eliminazione di un solo file (3) e non posso resettare totalmente alfresco, come faccio a capire che il BKP è andato a buon fine?

No. You can configure with Postgresql (or others) without problem. Go again in the tutorial and find the section "6. Database configuration properties (remember, in my case will be configured for postgresql)" and you have there and example about how to configure with postgresql 🙂

Try to start up your Alfresco instance and check if that file is already deleted. As far as I know is the only way to really "check" if everything is fine. Right, ‌?
