    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have succeessfully set up the cifs on win2003, I can see the folder from 2003 server (sp1),and also can access them from windows 2000(sp4), which doesn't&amp;nbsp; ask for username/password.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;but when I use it on Win XP(sp2),it requires me to enter username and password ,for this ,I have tried the username/password of the windows system ,and the alfresco system, but all failed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In order to access the CIFS server with the default setup you would need NetBIOS enabled on the remote machines.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On a remote machine can you try 'nbtstat -a SERVER' and 'nbtstat -a SERVER_H', they should both list the remote NetBIOS name table.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Gary&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
