I am thinking of creating a form builder (possibly with jquery) where users can design the forms they require for use within the workflow. Has anyone looked at something similar or have any suggestions / tips on implementing such a tool. I assume it will require a custom renderer as well so that the

Ok looking further into it, what about the idea of using the vaadin form builder as a base to create a user friendly form designer. Users then can design there own forms, layouts to be used in the workflow.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas in this area?

Hi,

That would be a great addition to the Activiti framework, so if you would want to contribute it that would be really nice.
Currently there are no plans to develop this.

Great, I think this is the direction I will take as it seems the logical way to fit this in.

If anyone wants to work, collaborate with me to get this going please let me know. I think this would be a powerful addition to the tool set 🙂
