Help me in getting correct backup and recovery

HiIam using alfresco, and using Mysql server4.1 and client. I need to take backup from my system and that backup is utilized in my colleagues' system. But the recovery happens very well. When i try to connect to alfresco i am getting a bunch of errors. Please help me.java:226) at org.springfr

It appears that the alfresco user does not have the privileges to access the alfresco database: "Access denied for user 'alfresco'@'localhost'"

This is may be because you moved the database from one machine to another?

Try the following command using the MySQL command line client:

grant all on alfresco.* to 'alfresco'@'localhost' identified by 'alfresco' with grant option;‍

Good Morning!

I have given that grant permission, this time i got no errors but when i try to login with admin/admin it is not working.I think it is probably with the backup what i took from my colleagues. Firstly i dropped the alfresco database in my mysql database.Then i have recoverd the database from another machine using Mysql administartor.

when i ran the alfresco it is allowing with admin/admin or even guest access is also not allowed.Please help me ASAP!

Hi

It is not allowing either with admin/admin or guest access. I dropped the database from my local machine. I got backup from another machine using MySql . It is showing all the tables and data correctly. But when i try to enter as admin/admin it is showing username/password is wrong.

please help me ASAP

Hi,

This normally happens when the server is pointing to the wrong content and indexes location. The server performs a Lucene search for the user and finds no results. Make sure that you override the configuration and point the server to the correct location.
