topic Document Templates in Alfresco Archive

Hi all,

When I'm working with Documentum I have a place in the repository where I can store all my document templates based on types. When I create a new document from scratch, it gives me to option to do it based on a template (providing me a combo-box list).
Is that possible to have a similar behaviour using the Alfresco's Template feature? Or it has nothing to do with document templates?

Thanks,

Eduardo.

That's not a feature we have in Alfresco currently. The content templates refer to the template language script files.

It's a feature that could be added to the client, i'll raise a JIRA task for it.

http://www.alfresco.org/jira/browse/AWC-549

Thanks,

Kevin
