This would be great, as it would ease the ramp-up time for a whole acitiviti installation.
Maybe the downloads for all third party extensions could be linked in the user guide.

Due to the User Guide (http://www.activiti.org/userguide/index.html#activitiModeler) we have to build our own Activiti Modeler. I have no idea, why the Modeler was removed in 5.7.

Regards,
Oliver

Hi,

The Activiti Modeler was and is a small branch of the Signavio core components project.
We decided to provide an installer with the core components of Activiti –> the Engine, REST and Explorer.
And then the Modeler and Cycle can be downloaded and installed as a separate add-on component.
I know that it's a bit of extra work to get the Modeler working. And as part of the Activiti in Action book I would like to provide a WAR file that you can download and copy to the webapps directory of Tomcat.
Would that work for you?

Best regards,

If not, please supply your path to your Apache Tomcat wbapps folder.
