The source code for the release is in the SDK - otherwise you will have to check out from svn based on date.

Yes, I saw the source code. However, I do not see any build scripts. If someone wants to actually build a 1.4 Alfresco, how do they get hold of something that is buildable? As far as I can see, one either has to know the SVN revision number for the 1.4 release, or they have to create their own build.
