    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Scenario:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1) Text from MS Word is pasted into a description propety in alfresco.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2) Document is saved.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3) Text from that property is pulled using JCR-170 interface and displayed as text on the website.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Result: Single and double quotation marks are displayed as question marks.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Note that these characters are displayed without a problem in both Show and Edit properties screen.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any help is greatly appreciated.&amp;nbsp; Thank You.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
