Installation OK, but Alfresco doesn't start ...

I work with:- Alfresco 1.4- Apache Tomcat 5.5- MySQL 5.0- Java JRE + JDK 1.5.0_09all under Windows XP.I installed the war file with the help of Tomcat installer for web apps. But Tomcat wasn't able to start Alfresco. MySQL runs well. Everything looks fine in there.I read postings like http://forums.

Can you make sure you have the mysql JDBC driver in the appropriate place? e.g. in the tomcat\common\lib folder?

The following file is in this folder:

mysql-connector-java-3.1.13-bin.jar

Now it's up and running…

What I did:
I moved this file from an subfolder into tomcat\common\lib and restarted Tomcat.

Hey Guys,

I made the same changes, but still can't get Alfresco to work via http://localhost:8080/alfresco...for some reason, I can get the Apache Tomcat screen to load up at http://localhost:8080, and it says that Tomcat is functioning properly, however, I can't even access the Tomcat Manager at http://localhost:8080/manager.html...could this be the problem? In short, I've spent a lot of time post-installation to get Alfresco up and running, and would LOVE to get this issue resolved as soon as possible, so any help would be greatly appreciate (I'll even take you out for some coffee if you're in Silicon Valley haha)
