Apologies if this is a repost, but after going through the archives for a bit, I still hadn't found what I am looking for so here goes.

I've installed a test instance of the final Alfresco 2.0 Community release on a Windows box that has admin privileges on a domain called AIRBORNE (where Samba is my PDC).

I'd like to log into Alfresco using my Windows/Samba account and not the Alfresco user account so that users who are logging in retain their access privileges with respect to the Samba shares. Can someone please help me in figuring out how this could be done? Are there some step by step documentations on this?

Thanks in advance!

oops, sorry. I didn't realize that the Samba authentication would be pretty much the same thing as the NTLM system. As such, the wiki and forum topics on NTLM helped me finally set it up.

Thanks again.
