ON ear file deployment activiti-cycle on weblogic10.3.5 (oracle db) comes up with the following errorjava.lang.NullpointerException @org.sprongframework.webservlet.view.UrlBasedViewResolver.loadview(UrlBasedViewResolver.java421). I can't follow what is this Nullpointer exception. Any help on this

Hi ananthk.

Actually at the moment Cycle can only be deployed on a Tomcat safely. It is because of Spring Surf as GUI Technology. We are currently working on a technology switch and will soon come up with a version deployable on every App Server (we test Tomcat, JBoss 5,6 & 7, Glassfish).

Please give us some more weeks…

Thanks for your reply. It really did help me a lot that there is issue with Spring GUI Technology. Actually the activiti-kickstart, activiti-modeler works fine on weblogic. But activiti-cycle, activiti-probe and activiti-explorer comes up with the error that I quoted. We are eagerly looking for your new version that is deployable on weblogic. Now I need help with activiti-cycle, activiti-probe, activiti-explorer to come up on weblogic 10.3.5. I am currently working on activity 5.6 version. I will look forward for your new version to come up so that this is really usable.

Hi bernd.ruecker,
Can you explain please how to fix this problem for spring-surf applications (in general) for Oracle Weblogic server, or why it is impossible?
Please, give advice or a recomendation, a few sentences, in which direction I should look to resolve this problem. Sorry for my english
