The bad news within a couple of hours, the server ran out of memory and started to swap. There is one other application running on top of tomcat that was using less the 800 megs so there should have been enough memory to run both applications. This morning I performed a multi-threaded stress test on Alfresco 2.0 HEAD designed to find memory leaks and after 50,000 web-client screens requests no signs of a leak was detected.
