I want to intergrate Alfresco with JBoss Portal application. My requirement is something like this.

I have an already existing JBoss Portal application running on JDK 1.4 with JBOss 4.2.0.
I have Alfresco deployed on another JBoss Server same version. But for Alfresco this uses JDK 5.
I want to seamlessly integrate Alfresco into my Portal application.
Something like WSRP.

But i saw on another posting that Alfresco does not support WSRP.
So can anyone suggest any other approach to do this ?
thanks in advance.

From our experience on liferay and alfresco integration, alfresco CMS system is designed to work as portlet application rather than wsrp enabled portlet.

This is a suprise to us as alresco has a very rich ui and were able to achive the entire ui functionality as is in portlet.. We see such as rich UI were possible by usage of portlet bridges or so..

B.T.W we are now looking for Alfresco JBoss portal war bundle like the liferay gives a Alfresco Liferay war file. Any clues where we could find one such thing..(we are unable to find one from jboss portal site)

Regards,
Raja Nagendra Kumar,
C.T.O
http://www.tejasoft.com
Competant and Reliable Offshore Development Partners.
