    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Those are a combination of "absolute" and "recommended" minimum requirements because Alfresco has tested the Community release with those components and is technically incompatible to earlier versions of at least some of these components. I.e. from experience I know you can use an earlier version of PostgreSQL and LibreOffice (at your own risk), but since Alfresco is built with JDK 8 against JDK 8 it will fail to be run with JDK 7.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not recommend running production with anything below the listed prerequisite versions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
